Mott Canyon
Heavenly

About this zone
Mott Canyon is where strong Heavenly skiers go for steep, fall-line laps without the full commitment of the more intimidating lines nearby. It’s classic off-piste skiing with tight trees, built-in moguls, and a mix of entrances that let you scale the difficulty up or down. When it’s skiing well, the runout stays fun and keeps the laps flowing.
Best When
Best early after a reset, before it’s been pushed into big, irregular bumps and trenches. Because the terrain offers a mix of exposures and pockets, it’s a good option when conditions are mixed and you’re willing to move around and sample a few lines until you find the snow you want.
Watch Out For
Closed gates are closed for a reason, so don’t treat them as suggestions. Moguls can get deep and technical fast, especially as the day goes on, and the trees tighten the margin for error when visibility is flat or the snow goes firm. Watch for thin cover and hidden obstacles around entrances and along the edges.
