Arrow
Northstar

About this zone
Arrow is a mellow, northeast-facing beginner zone midway up the mountain. It’s mostly wide, low-angle groomers and open, meadow-like cruisers that ski predictably, with a few small nooks around the edges if you want to poke off the main track. It’s a natural place to slow things down, work on basics, or lap easy terrain without committing to anything steep.
Best When
Arrow tends to ski more consistently during storms thanks to its lower elevation and sheltered feel, when upper mountain terrain can be windier or harder to read. It’s also a good choice when you want straightforward, low-consequence laps and a calmer pace, especially if visibility is limited elsewhere.
Watch Out For
Expect heavy traffic and lots of newer skiers, so keep your speed in check and ride defensively. If you duck into the trees through the middle of the zone, it can get dense and tighten up quickly, which catches people off guard. In stormy or low-light conditions, watch for changing surface texture and small obstacles near the edges where grooming drops off.
