Rendezvous
Northstar

About this zone
Rendezvous is a compact, northwest-facing strip of advanced terrain up high, with steep fall lines and tight trees. The skiing is most technical right off the top, where you’ll find steeper entries and a few rock bands, then it eases into a more moderate runout. If you want to dial back the consequence, travel farther down the ridge before you drop in and the pitch and spacing generally mellow out.
Best When
This zone is at its best after cold storms. The northwest aspect and tree cover help keep snow preserved, so it’s a solid place to hunt soft turns when more exposed terrain has already been worked over or wind-affected.
Watch Out For
The top entries are the crux: steeper starts, tight tree spacing, and rock bands that stay in play when coverage is thin. On deep days, tree wells are a real hazard and the tighter lines make it harder to manage slough and traffic. Lower down, expect sections that bump up, and keep your head up near any groomed runouts where faster skiers can come through.
